Learn how to configure and brand your site, enable services, manage security, import people, and more.

This section lists the topics you see when you login to Cornerstone SBX as an Administrator. These topics address common activities that an Administrator will need to perform.

It gives you details on:

  • Defining data like countries, currencies, exchange rates, languages, etc. by navigating through ADMIN > System Admin > Configure System.
  • Administrative tasks like:
    • Customer On-boarding
    • Create and localize MicroApps and upload a gadget XML file.
    • Create microsites and configure site properties for a microsite.
    • Configure the proxy functionality.
    • Configure a set of comma separated email IDs (recipients) that will receive a BCC of all the system wide emails.
    • Terms & conditions: Allows creating new terms & conditions. The same Terms & Conditions popup is shown in the Mobile application.
    • Configure Labels: This page displays a set of existing labels that you can configure.
    • Export configuration settings from one Cornerstone SBX instance, and then import the settings into another instance.
    • Compare the settings between two tenants.
    • Access the API dashboard.
    • Create alerts to users about the use of cookies.
    • Post a message within the application which then requires the system administrators to acknowledge such messages.
    • Set the start day of the week for a particular locale.
  • Manage Branding: As a system administrator, you can define the look and feel of different areas of the Cornerstone SBX application UI such as headers, footers, assessment players and so on by managing the UI branding using the Manage Branding menu. You can also manage the Assessment Branding to customize the look and feel of the assessment player by creating different player themes to suit your organizational requirements.
  • Search, enable and configure services and customize component dictionary.

  • Manage Security: This menu allows creating simple and compound security roles, cloning security roles, viewing the basic person component privileges, setting the Is sensitive security role and enabling the Audit Trail for security roles.

  • Search engine: The system admin can manage the Apache Lucene full-text search feature by triggering the index generation process, viewing index generation statistics, restarting index generation, viewing index generation history, configuring index generation frequency and configure the display of custom fields in Global Search and the Advanced Search panel.
  • Everything about data import and extract:
    • Configure data import, map the data before import, use the data mapping tool, import data, configure the data import notifications.
    • Monitor a data import job, search imports, import monitoring columns, viewing data import logs, upload the scheduled data import logs to the SFTP site and encrypt the log files for scheduled data import jobs.
    • Use the Data extract utility, monitor the scheduled data extract jobs and access the extracted data.
  • Enable PGP decryption for data import files and enable PGP encryption for data extract files.
  • Test web services. You can execute live API calls from the API documentation for testing purposes.
  • Manage Engagement Tools: The system admin can configure the pQ Start Date and trigger the DNA visualizations.
  • SMF (Service Management Framework): Under this menu, the system admin can add an SMF event configuration for a site, enable or disable an SMF event, view all SMF jobs, retry an SMF job, view the SMF Job Dashboard, view the source object details for SMF jobs, add a SMF job processor, view all scheduled jobs and their status in the calendar view, create a new email alert for an event and configure SMF routing rules.
