Enable and Sync Credly badges

To enable digital badges as a System Admin, navigate to Admin > System > Configure System > Services > Foundation > Rewards. Set the following service to 'On', so that an external ID can be stored when creating or updating a badge.

Synchronize internal badges with external digital credentialing solution

By default, it's set to 'Off'.

It will be used to sync with the corresponding external badge.

To create the badge, as an HR Admin, navigate to Admin > HR > Manage Badges and click New Badge. Select the Learning radio button and then you'll see the External Badge Template ID field. Enter the badge ID from Credly. Complete all the required fields and upload a badge image. Save the badge. Then select the learning event to attach to the badge.
Notes:
  • An Cornerstone Saba Badge associated to Credly can only have one Learning Event associated. This learning event can only be a curriculum.
  • Once an Cornerstone Saba Badge has been earned by someone, the Credly badge ID and the learning event associated cannot be removed or changed. You can, however inactivate the Cornerstone Saba badge if you need to.
  • A Credly Badge ID can only be associated to a single Cornerstone Saba Badge. If you need to associate the Credly Badge ID to another Cornerstone Saba badge, then you need to create a new Credly badge that goes with the new Cornerstone Saba badge.

Learners must accept the badge from the Credly side. To view your digital badges, navigate to Me > Rewards.

After successful integration, learners can view their badges by going to the My Rewards page. By clicking the Credly icon, the learner will be directed to the corresponding Credly badge.
